Ensure robust protection for outdoor surveillance

Designed for use with selected Axis PTZ cameras, AXIS TQ1828-VE Safety Cabinet provides a secure, weather-resistant enclosure for outdoor surveil-lance installations. It’s pre-assembled with Electrical Safety Kit A 120 V AC or Electrical Safety Kit B 230 V to ensure the safety and proper operation of the electrical equipment inside the cabinet. Designed to operate in extreme temperatures from –40 °C to +75 °C, this IP66-, NEMA 4X-, and IK10-rated cabinet is protected from harsh environments and vandalism. It also complies with the 4M4 vibration standard, ensuring high resistance to vibration and mechanical stress.

Streamline installation across various environments

This lightweight cabinet is easy to install and comes with a stainless-steel mounting plate, pre-mounted cable gaskets, DIN rail, and cabinet door screws. Optional mounting brackets are available for installation on walls, poles, or building corners. It safely houses and protects both mains power and low-voltage units, making it ideal for cities, industrial sites, airports, harbors, and critical infrastructures where fiber connectivity and separate power sources are often required. AXIS Door Switch A (available as an accessory) helps prevent intrusion, and there’s a range of replacement doors to suit your needs.
